What Can I Expect?


A treatment that’s so advanced technologically, Liposonix is very simple. The treatment may begin with a consultation with a physician to see if the procedure is right for an individual. The patient should

1. Be able to get rid of 1 inch (2.5 cm) of fat in the area to be treated.
2. Have a BMI (body mass index) of equal to or less than 30.
3. Have a good health.
4. Have realistic expectations from the procedure.

If the patient is found suitable, the procedure may be completed in an hour.

Before Liposonix
The patient is believed to consult a physician where they will be evaluated for
1. Being able to get rid of 1 inch (2.5 cm) of fat
2. A BMI (body mass index) equal to or less than 30
3. A good overall health
4. Having realistic expectations from the procedure

During Liposonix
The doctor may move the head of the Liposonix system around the treatment area for 30-60 minutes. During the procedure, the patient may feel discomfort, cold, prickling, tingling or warmth that are usually mild.

After Liposonix
1. For around 8-12 weeks, the body may naturally process and permanently remove the destroyed fat tissue.
2. Having less fat may make the body naturally slimmer, sleeker and giving a contoured waistline.
3. After the procedure, there may be some discomfort, bruising, redness and swelling that are usually mild.
